Situation

Previously used an oil bath which prohibited overnight operation. Oil has an inherent safety risk, produced a bad odour and required constant cleaning of oils spills and mess.

Objectives

  1. Improve safety allowing for chemical processes to run unattended overnight.

  2. Provide a cleaner, safer working environment.

  3. De-clutter the fume hood from multiple oil baths.
